The Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) says it requires US$500 million to extend the lifespan of Hwange Power station’s aged plant by at least 25 years.
On 14 June 2015, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Working Group on Cereals and Tubers, Mrs A. Shonhiwa, Permanent Secretary for Industry and Commerce (who is the Commissioner General of Zimbabwe for Expo Milan) signed the Participation Contract.
